The OS Project

Revolutionizing Computer Operating Systems

The OS Project is designed to produce a product we are calling 'Winux'. The goal is to make an operating system that is fully compatible with Microsoft Windows (but without all the problems), maintaining a similarly well-designed interface, and fully open source. The name Winux comes from "Windows" + "Linux", and is, at least for now, only a codename. I do not know what the final product will actually be called.
